Welcome to Sea Breeze Salsa!

Thank you for visiting our site! Here you’ll find the latest pictures, videos and news about our group, as well as photos, videos and information for past events in our history pages. Visit us regularly to see what we’re up to.

We are an independent salsa group in Bermuda offering:

1) salsa and bachata group classes

Class Information & Descriptions

This will be a progressive 5-week cycle beginning November 8th, designed to keep the learning process rolling through the holidays and into the new year.

Class Descriptions:

Beginners 1 – Salsa
NO PARTNER REQUIRED – COME ALONE OR COME WITH FRIENDS!
The basic step of salsa can be accomplished in less than 10 minutes.  Our step by step process focuses on the basic salsa footwork, timing and leading-following techniques.  The basic foundation moves of salsa dancing can progressively form into routines that are readily usable with confidence at any social event.

Beginners 2 – Salsa
READY FOR THE NEXT LEVEL?
In this class, the basic steps from the Beginner level are reinforced and expanded upon. We introduce basic footwork combinations and a family of hand movements and variations that can be incorporated into any dance pattern.

Intermediate – Salsa
GOT THE BASICS AND LOOKING FOR MORE?
Then this class is for you……Discover brand new patterns, develop partner work technique and dance fancier footwork. Challenge your skills and learn secrets that will make you look like a seasoned dancer.

Crunkchata
COME AND EXPRESS THIS NEW FUSION OF MUSICAL STYLES – NO SALSA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! AGES 12 AND UP
In this class you’ll learn footwork variations that can be danced naturally to Hip-Hop, R&B, Bachata and Reggeaton.  With a focus on style and soul, CrunkChata is an exciting way to express oneself to the music dominating today’s music charts.

Bachata 1
This class will introduce you to the various musical forms of Bachata and its origins; from the traditional style to the modern. Come with me (IylandSpyce Bachatness) on a journey from the back yards in the Domincan Republic to the busy club nights of DC.

Welcome Back to School

Saturday October 1, PCC Club, 5 North Shore Road – $10 at the door.
We’re back!  Come dance the night away with us at a new venue to the sounds of DJ Mezcla.  All the best Salsa, Bachata and Cha Cha to move your feet and your soul, just as you remember.  This event is open to all: new students, old students, hardcore salseros and anyone wanting to test the waters for the first time, so spread the word and we’ll see you on the dance floor!
